Introduction

Acne vulgaris (severe nodular, deforming, scarring) is the most common chronic skin disorder in the United States, affecting approximately 80% of persons between 11 and 30 years of age. 

Cystic or inflammatory acne is defined as deep dermis inflammation. This type typically results in scarring.

 

Eighty percent of Americans describe acne as the number one traumatic life event with either physical or emotional scarring.

 

 

Dr. Steven Dominguez treats SEVERE acne in conjunction with YOUR family physician or dermatologist. 

 

 

 

 

As you can see by the photos, SEVERE Acne is not treated once but rather for a sustainable amount of time.  Despite the time interval, the results speak are incredible.

Dr. Steven Dominguez treats SEVERE acne using a combination of three lasers and differing energy settings.  The lasers  are the Scition Erbium, 1064nm Nd:YAG, and the 1310nm Nd:YAG. 

Severe acne treatment by Dr. Steven Dominguez may include injectable steroids, and a combination of salicyclic acid, glycolic acid, and TCA at varing strenghts and interval applications.

Insurance is notorious for NOT paying plastic surgeons, so your treatments will be on a cash basis.  Dr. Steven Dominguez will however provide you with a year end accounting for your submission to the IRS or insurance company for reimbursement.
