What is a Sub-Mentalplasty?

Most of us have a double chin in some stage of evolution. The double chin is a combination of fat, seperating neck muscles, and loose extra skin.  A sub-mentalplasty is a surgical procedure performed by Dr. Steven Dominguez to remove the fat directly under the chin, tighten the platysma muscles directly under the chin, stretch the loose extra skin directly under the chin - trim it, then bring it together tight with a few sutures.

How long does the surgery take?

When performed by Dr. Steven Dominguez, the in-office procedure takes 45 minutes resulting in an Improved Double Chin, Smaller Turkey Gobble, and Beautiful neck!! Bandaid over the few stitches, back to work, no bruising - swelling, stitches out in 5-7 days.

Is it for everyone?

No, some people will need liposuction prior to this surgery, a traditional plastysmaplasty, and/or a neck lift to correct their "double chin."
